Take 1
I would like to fomally introduce myself as Ashley L. Brown, senior, business marketing
major at Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC.
I come from a family that has "LOVE" written all over. I have four siblings ages: 26,
24, 7, and 3. I fall in between as the "21 year old...the middle child." I am on a quest to follow in the footsteps of success
that has been left by my two older sisters. Together we will come together and change the negative connotations of Black America
and be positive influences for generations to come, but most importantly our two younger sisters.
There is much to be thankful for:
I will be graduating May 10, 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. Post graduation, I
will begin a career with International Business Machines (IBM) as a Supply Chain Management Consultant.
Life outside of school & work
Unlike the traditional hobbies of a young lady my age, I love to take advantage of the good 'ol Low Country. To
just kick back and take in all of life's stress, I turn to fishing in back yard swamps on broken bridges and crabbing in the
marsh land.
